When I heard about CPB's Whopper Sacrifice, I couldn't help but think back to that quote.
BK recently ran a facebook application asking you to drop ten friends for a Whopper. It ended up getting pulled, but the premise was great -- engaging, overtly viral, and hilarious. Over 230,000 users interacted with the brand, and BK furthered their personality and product value. Plus the idea is fresh as hell.
A lot of attention for next to nothing. Well done.
